Classically trained in singing, dance and acting, Jodie Gilbert has many year’s experience, as a child and an adult, in musical theatre, TV adverts, modelling and classical shows across the country. Playing the part of Nancy opposite the late, great Ron Moody as Fagin in Oliver is just one of her many achievements.
Jodie has also been on the gigging circuit for over 15 years, performing tributes to the Carpenters, Shania Twain and many other 60’s, 70’s and 80’s artists.
Jodie’s versatility to singing and performing is second to none. She now has her own function band and the band prides itself on covering all genres and all decades of music, literally something for everyone to enjoy. Due to Jodie's training and absolute love for classical music she made the decision to tribute one of Britain's most loved classical opera singers, Katherine Jenkins. As a huge fan of Katherine, Jodie's tribute and attention to detail is outstanding, an hour of beautiful arias and classical songs performed at its best as only a trained soprano could do.
